Principle of Operation "Color-Right" Automatic Paint/Ink Dispensing Systems dispense base components to create custom colors on demand to easily meet small or large production needs with minimal effort.
 Base components are stored in containers suited for the volume required to meet production demands. To insure a homogeneous blend in the pipe lines, all components are automatically recirculated.
Formulas/recipes to be dispensed are stored on the local dispensing system database or on a centrally located server. Our in-house developed and supported “Color-Right” Software automatically scales the formula and dispenses the correct amount and records lot numbers for reporting purposes.
Accuracy and repeatability of our gravimetric dispense systems are controlled by a uniquely designed valve pulse routine. The pulse routine accommodates common fluctuations in product viscosity and system air. Dispense accuracy is typically 0.1 gram or better.
Larger dispense amounts such as base components can be handled by bigger pumps and dispensing valves to optimize the speed of dispense.
A unique washing system flushes the valve’s face to insure a trouble free operation after each dispense.
To meet various needs CB Mills employs two different designs, fixed-head and center-point.

The dispensing head is designed to accommodate up to (19) 3-stage valves and up to (3) On/Off valves. The valves are fixed in a circular array for dispensing into a minimum 12” diameter container.
Center-Point Production Dispenser
 Center-Point production paint/in dispenser models CR-48 and CR-96
The dispensing head is designed to accommodate up to 48/96 valves. Each valve pivots from its resting position in a circular array to a central point for dispensing into your container. Because of this, the CR-48/CR96 Dispensing Heads can accommodate container sizes as small as a typical one quart paint can.

We took action and designed our CR-Lab automatic dispensing system around your needs and that is why the foot-print of the dispense head is < 32” deep.

Again, we have listened and developed an automatic dispensing system that will give you the flexibility of connecting to virtually any container size for your stored components. Alternatively, the CR-Lab automatic dispenser can tie into the pumping system of your production dispenser to eliminate inconsistencies between the lab stored components and production components. Furthermore, the formulas/recipes created on the lab system can be available to the production system immediately upon creation.
CB Mills has done it again by developing CR-Lab an automatic dispenser that has the capability of dispensing up to 48 components automatically with an accuracy of up to 0.01 gram or better making it ideal for lab proofs or small production requirements – less than one gallon.
