The fault indicator is on?
1. Pull out the red E-stop button and push in the green reset button.
2. Check that the door on the control cabinet are fully closed and engaging the door switches.
3. Check for sufficient air pressure to the cabinet.
4. Check the adjusment of the air purge controls for sufficient pressure in the cabinet.
The container is on the scale, but dispensing does not occur?
1. Check the scale display and "Color-Right" software for proper scale readings and connectivity.
2. Check that the scale's top plate is not rubbing against anything such as the scale frame.
3. Check that there are no excessive air currents causing the scale to wait for a stable condition.
No flow of the dispense component?
1. Check that there is product in the feed container.
2. Try dispensing in manual mode. If it works, there is an automated control issue. If not, there is more likely a mechanical issue.
3. Check that the pump pressure is adjusted to the correct values.
4. Check that an air signak is being sent to the pump by disconnecting the air pilot line to the control valve. If there is air flowing the controls are working.
5. Insure that there is no ball valve/s in the feed line that are completely closed.
6. Check for movement of the actuator.
7. Check for proper hooking of the actuator to the valve. Why do I get excessive dispensing error?
1. Check for proper operation of the dispensing valve.
2. Check for interference on the scale top plate.
3. Recalibrate the dispensing valve. The wash does not operate automatically?
1. Check if the wash controls are in manual mode. If so, switch to auto mode.
2. Operate the wash in manual mode to check for proper operation.
3. Check for blockage in the liquid manifold.
4. Check that the wash liquid reservoir has sufficient liquid level.
5. Check if the signal is being sent to the control solenoid.
6. Check the needle valve in the air lines to be sure it is not closed or too low to operate the pump.
7. Check that the wash pump has not stalled.
8. Check the wash schedule in the "Color-Right" software. After a dispense, the valve continues to drip?
1. Try a manual dispense of all valve openings to see if any dried product of large particles can be dislodged, then force a manual valve washing cycle. If this doesn't help go to the following.
2. Close the valve at the swing-arm and dis-assemble.
3. Remove the valve from the swing-arm and dis-assemble.
4. Check for dried product or large particles that are interfering with the valve operation and clean thoroughly.
5. Check the integrity of the o-rings. Replace damaged o-rings as necessary.
6. Check the spring action of the valve.
